     the next player I introduce you is Matt Murton.  he has been playing for Tigers since 2010.  he has a Japanese record of hitting hits.  he hit 214hits in 2010, the first year he play in Japan.

     he got an award of making the most hits in this year. if he made many hits, possibility of Tigers' champion of Japan would be strong.

a lead-off batter "Tsuyoshi Nishioka #7"

the next player is Tsuyoshi Nishioka.  he was a player of Marines until 2010.  after that, he played in the major leagues in 2011 and 2012.  this year, he came back to Japan and joined Tigers.  in this year, he played as a lead-off batter in almost all games.

 

 

 

this year, his batting record is not so good.  we expect he will be active like 2010's season, which he hit 206 hits.

a golden rookie "Shintaro Fujinami #19"

the next player is Shintaro Fujinami.  he is 19 years old now!!  last year, he got drafted as a first-round draft pick by Buffalos,Swallows,Marines and Tigers.  and Tigers win the draft lottery.

 

 

this year, he made 10 wins.  some newspaper say he may throw in next year's opening game.  I expect he makes wins as many as possible.



the captain "Takashi Toritanu #1"

the next player is Takashi Toritani.  his position is a shortstop.  he throws right and bats left.  he is a captain of Tigers.  he was also elected the member of the National team for World Baseball Classic in 2013.  he won the Best Nine and Golden Glove prizes in 2011.

these years, his hitting record is not so good, but he makes a lot of base on balls.  so his play makes the team winning!!

the top pitcher on Tigers "Atsushi Nohmi #14"

     the second player I introduce you is Atsushi Nohmi.  he is the top pitcher on Tigers.  he throws and bats left-handed.  he throws in the opening game in 2011 and 2012.

     this year, he was elected the member of national team for World Baseball Classic and contributed for the team being best4.

     we, the fans of  Tigers, hope that he is the top pitcher on Tigers next year.

The oldest player "Shinjiro Hiyama #24"

 

 

     the first player I introduce you is Shinjiro Hiyama.  he was the oldest player of the player of Tigers.  he is 44years old now!!

 

     however, unfortunately, this year is the last year he plays as a player on the active list.  he retired when the last game of this year on Oct 13th, against Hirishima Carp.  in this game, he have a turn at bat in the bottom of 9th inning with runner on first and 2outs.  this is the last turn at bat for him.

 

 

 

He hit a home run!!! 

 

    

Tigers lost the game, but he gave us a big impression!
